Finite Element Analysis (FEA) is typically used where conventional design and calculations are not adequate or are too time. For complex shapes and loadings, including transient modelling, FEA is the most cost effective solution and reduces required physical prototype iterations.
FSD has years of experience using various FEA methodologies to solve industry problems. Each problem requires its own solution and our experience helps us provide our clients with the most accurate and cost effective solution.
FSD has invested significant resources to develop work flows and software customizations to increase both the speed and accuracy with which any design can be taken from concept to detailed fabrication drawings. Combined with our extensive experience in drawing creation, FSD prides itself on creating clear and concise fabrication drawings that reduce confusion and potential errors on the shop floor and in the field. FSD uses both the latest versions of AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor and depending on project requirements will leverage the most efficient tool for the job.
